We like
to think that from the moment you enter our home, you succumb to the warmth
of our welcome and begin to feel at home rightaway so by the time you
have enjoyed afternoon tea with Margarets cakes and biscuits either
by the log fire or in the garden, you are at home.

Our two guest bedrooms lead directly off the drawing room so that our guests have their own private and self-contained wing in which to relax and unwind. |

Breakfast
Breakfast is normally served between 8.00 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. and guests are welcome to have a continental breakfast served in their bedroom if they so wish.
We always endeavour to buy local farmers (and fishermens) produce and attach great importance to organic / freerange / fair-trade / and GM free products as well as baking our own bread daily.
Margarets famous Marmalade is as popular as ever as are all her jams and preserves. |

We are delighted to offer our guests something to eat in the evenings as an alternative to going out to one of our excellent local hostelries particularly on the first night after perhaps a long journey but this is served on a tray in the drawing room by the log fire.
A freshly baked Quiche Lorraine with new potatoes and salad, Coquilles St.Jacques or West Bay Crab Salad are typical of the sort of dishes on offer as well as a tureen of homemade soup or sandwiches. |
